1, Shanghai Vocational College of Arts and Crafts
This is an independent art and design vocational college in Shanghai, the only vocational college in Shanghai that undertakes the pilot reform of the national education system, and the only vocational college in Shanghai that has been selected into the national "double high" construction plan. Founded in 2003 by Shanghai Arts and Crafts School (built in 1960) and Shanghai Second Light Workers College (built in 1979).
Based on arts and crafts, the college has trained a large number of well-known design masters, craft masters, artists and entrepreneurs at home and abroad. There are several secondary colleges under the College, such as Handicraft College, Product Design College, Urban Design College and Digital Art College, covering 27 majors including arts and crafts design and digital media art design.
2. Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College
This is the largest public vocational college in Shanghai, which was formed by the merger of the former Shanghai Urban Management Vocational and Technical College and Shanghai Jianfeng Vocational and Technical College and integrated into the academic education of Shanghai Trade Union Management Vocational College. The college has a long history, and its predecessor can be traced back to Shanghai Amateur Civil and Architectural College founded by 1956.
College is a "first-class vocational college" in Shanghai. The college has five secondary teaching units, including Tourism and Leisure Management College, Hotel and Cuisine College, Exhibition and Economic Management College, Tourism Foreign Languages College and Public Education Department, covering tourism management, hotel management, exhibition economy and management, tourism English and other 15 majors.
3. Shanghai Tourism College
This is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning in China to train senior tourism professionals. Originally in charge of the National Tourism Administration, it was placed under the territorial management of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission in 2000. The school was founded in 1979, and the name of the school at that time was "Shanghai Tourism College". The school merged with Shanghai Normal University and became an educational institution with two names: Shanghai Tourism College and Shanghai Normal University Tourism College.
4. Shanghai Electronic Information Vocational and Technical College
This is a public full-time general higher vocational college, which trains high-quality technical and skilled talents in electronic information, advanced manufacturing and productive service industries. This school is a national high-quality vocational college.
