Introduction:

Liaoning University is a comprehensive key university with nine disciplines, namely, literature, history, philosophy, economics, law, science, engineering, management and art, under the supervision of the People's Government of Liaoning Province. It is one of the national "2 1 1 project" key construction institutions, the institutions selected for the excellent legal talent education and training plan, and 13 national economic basic talent training bases.

Liaoning University was established in Shenyang in June 1948 1 1. At the beginning, it enrolled four-year undergraduate students. 1958 September 15, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, shenyang normal College and Shenyang Russian College merged to form Liaoning University, and Comrade Zhu De wrote the name of the school personally.

As of May 20 13, the school has three campuses: Shenyang Chongshan Campus, Shenyang Puhe Campus and Liaoyang Vu Thang Campus. The teaching area covers an area of 20 16 mu and the building area is 610.8 million square meters. There are nearly 28,000 full-time students, including nearly 20,000 undergraduates, nearly 6,700 graduate students and nearly 1 100 foreign students.
