Second, the SPP plan.
The direct study visa program in Canada was jointly launched by ACCC (Simple Community College Association) and the Canadian Embassy to attract more foreign students to Canada for education. At present, 50 Canadian universities have participated in the SPP project, including 5 universities (including Captain's University, Quintland Polytechnic University, Vancouver Island University, Fraser Valley University and Macvane University). These participating universities are mainly local colleges or newly-built universities with large scale and high recognition. However, such institutions are usually practical in teaching and employment-oriented, so it is easier for students to find jobs and immigrants in the local area after graduation.
Thirdly, SDS plans English in the whole process.
In order to replace and optimize the original simplified fund plan, the SDS program for studying in Canada is in English, that is, the direct entry program for students. The new plan further broadens the requirements for students' language scores and the scope of school admission, aiming to attract more excellent students with good language skills to continue their studies and improve their visa pass rate. The promulgation of SDS project reflects Canada's emphasis on international students and encourages "study abroad first, then immigrate", which also means that the Canadian government will gradually relax the application threshold for China students in the future and encourage more outstanding students to study in Canada.
