Curriculum generalization

The Master of Science in Urban Design and International Planning provides a professional understanding of the relationship between urban design and planning by paying attention to issues of international significance.

It will provide you with the core knowledge and ability to become a professional planner, and focus on urban design and international planning.

This course has been fully recognized by the Royal Institute of Urban Planning (RTPI). It is an educational member of the urban design team and a recognized practitioner of the urban design method.

Language requirements:

The total score of IELTS is above 6.5, the lowest score of writing is 6.5, and the other items are not less than 6.0; TOEFL score is above 90, minimum written test score is 22, and other items are not less than 20.

Language category:

10 week preschool course: minimum score of 5.5, minimum score of 5.5 for each item.

6-week pre-school course: the lowest score is 6.0, the lowest writing is 6.0, and other items are not less than 5.5.

Note: This major does not need to submit a portfolio.

Master of Architecture (March) Architecture (2-year program)-Master of Science

Tuition: 23,500 to 35,250 pounds per year for international students.

Application requirements

① Personal statement: Introduce your academic interests and the reasons for applying for this major.

② There must be at least two letters of recommendation, 1 letter of recommendation must be a tutor of an undergraduate college, and the other letter must be provided by the employer.

④ Collection of works

An electronic version of the portfolio, at least 35 pages, can be linked electronically by Dropbox or We-transfer. The portfolio includes catalogue, project design process and strategy, etc.

⑤ Language requirements: IELTS 6.5 is not less than 5.5.

Master of Architecture and Urbanism (1 year)-Master of Arts

Curriculum focus

Studying how global culture and economy affect contemporary cities and exploring urban design, function and future is based on the inheritance of urban theory in the 20th century and is committed to the development of sustainable cities.

Tuition: per year 17000.
