How to design it specifically?

The starting point of design is to evaluate the present life, know where you are and what life design problems you want to solve.

How to evaluate the current state? You can use the dashboard to evaluate each item from four aspects: work, entertainment, love and health. Of course, you can expand or modify these options according to your own situation.

According to the score, determine the problems you need to solve. The book also mentions the concept of gravity problem, which is to identify whether your problem can be solved. If this problem cannot be solved or is not operable (for example, improving the average income of poets is determined by market demand, and personal ability is difficult to reverse).

After determining the problem, the next thing to do is to create a life compass. What is a life compass? It is your view of work and life that determines what you think is important in work and life. Regarding the concept of work, you can determine it by asking a few questions, such as what is the purpose of work, some people are trying to make money and some are trying to help; What is the reason for work? What makes work interesting? Is it full of challenges, or is it because the work itself attracts you? Regarding the outlook on life, you can also ask yourself, for example, what gives meaning to life? What makes your life full of value? Will money, fame and personal achievements improve your life satisfaction? Wait a minute.

Pathfinding

What you need to do is to find your direction and all your interests. So the clue to finding a way is to pay attention to investment and energy, follow happiness and do things that attract you and excite you. The purpose of paying attention to input and energy is to find that when we engage in those activities, we are excited and consciously experienced, and we can forget to eat and sleep. At the same time, we can find out whether the current input consumes energy to make you tired or increases energy to make you energetic.

So how do you find these activities? The article mentioned a tool called Good Time Log, which records activities and reflections. Activity records describe activities that make you feel energetic, and reflection is to test why we can devote ourselves to these activities.

The steps of making a mind map are:

Make an "Odyssey Plan"

In this step, according to the above mind map, design three different suitable lives. If you really can't think of it, you can also learn from the following methods: choose one that you are already doing; Option 2, what do you want to do; Third, regardless of money and image, what do you want to do? For each choice, design the Odyssey plan.

When making a plan, give each plan a name, ask two or three questions about each plan, and evaluate the material resources (whether there are resources such as time, money, contacts, etc.), the degree of liking (urgency, lack of enthusiasm or full of human feelings), and the degree of self-confidence (do you believe that the plan can be realized or not? Consistency (whether the plan is consistent with your outlook on life and work)

Prototype design is to concretize the future life through experience, and at the same time, to deeply understand the specific functions through interviews with professionals. The prototype design is mainly to let us see the makeup removal photos in the specific location, which may be very different from what we imagined. For example, we saw the trainer, who was in high spirits during the training and learned about the considerable income of a training, but did not understand the pain of running around as a trapeze.
