GuangzhouUniversity, referred to as Gu for short, is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning organized by the People's Government of Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, and implements a * * * school-running system in which provinces and cities jointly build and cities take the lead. It is also a key construction institution of the national "11plan" and a high-level university in Guangdong Province and Guangzhou City.
