I. Application conditions
People's Republic of China (PRC) law-abiding citizens * * * education and working experience meet one of the following conditions:
1, 3 years or above working experience after graduation from university;
2. After obtaining a nationally recognized higher vocational education or undergraduate graduation, after 5 years or more, it has reached the same academic level as undergraduate graduates;
3. Have 2 years or above working experience after obtaining a master's degree or a doctorate.
Second, the application category and academic system
Category: part-time orientation. Attend classes for four days a month or two weekends, and complete the required credits and defense. Those who meet the conditions for granting positions can obtain MBA diploma and degree certificate upon graduation (pay attention to the business management direction of senior managers).
Length of study: 2-4 years of study. Those who fail to finish their studies on time may apply for an extension of up to 5 years (including suspension).
Third, the implementation steps of the "Excellence Plan"
(1) application method
Through online audit, feedback whether candidates have the basic conditions to apply for the exam.
(2) Application materials
The following application materials must be filled in and signed, sorted in order, and submitted in electronic and paper versions.
Electronic version: summarized in a PDF document and sent to embahust.edu.cn by e-mail five working days before the interview.
Paper version: submit three copies of paper materials on the day of the interview.
1. Fill in the complete application form for EMBA2023 Excellence Program of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (attached);
2. Original and reverse copies of the ID card;
3. A copy of the highest academic certificate;
4, the highest academic certificate electronic registration form or academic certification report;
5. Work certificate stamped by the unit;
6, the organization chart of the unit personnel, indicating my position;
7. Other relevant materials that can prove my work performance (not necessary).
Note: If you are still in the business preparation period or career gap period, please write a business plan or personal career planning report of about 500 words instead of materials 5~6.
(3) interview method and time arrangement
The specific interview method and time schedule will be determined according to the candidates' application and epidemic prevention and control requirements, and will be notified separately.
(four) interview qualification examination and interview notice
The staff of EMBA Education Center will review the candidates' application materials, feedback whether the candidates are qualified for the interview through WeChat or email, and send specific interview notices to the candidates who have passed the qualification examination one by one. Candidates who receive the interview notice should make relevant preparations in advance and attend the interview according to the specified interview time and method.
(v) Interview process
1, data validation
Candidates submit a full set of application materials for review, and the relevant originals will be returned on the spot after verification. When you enter the examination room for an interview, you must show your original ID card again.
2. Waiting area
Candidates are requested to wait at the designated place under the guidance of the staff. If you have any questions during the waiting period, you can communicate with the staff at any time.
Step 3 interview
Candidates enter the formal interview meeting room and conduct an interview with the consent of the interviewer.
4. Interview etiquette
(1) During the interview, please wear a suit;
(2) Strictly abide by the interview discipline and related arrangements;
(3) If you need to adjust the interview arrangement under special circumstances, please contact the staff of EMBA Education Center in time.
(6) The contents, forms and results of the interview.
The interview content is a comprehensive ability interview, with a full score of 100.
In the form of personal interview, two examiners interview a candidate. The examiner is composed of professors or industry executives, and each candidate takes about 20 minutes. The contents and weights of the assessment are: background assessment (30 points), insight assessment (30 points), business ability assessment and values assessment (40 points).
Candidates who pass the early interview (that is, the comprehensive ability interview reaches 80 points or above) can get the "Excellence Plan" pass of our school in 2023, and the "Excellence Plan" pass is valid for 2 years for the first candidate who wishes to apply for the 2023 EMBA of our school; Candidates who have not applied for the 2023 EMBA program of our school as their first choice will be automatically invalidated. Within 7 working days after the interview, EMBA Education Center will inform candidates of the interview results in advance by email.
Note: Candidates who failed the interview in advance for the 2023 EMBA Excellence Program in our school or whose EMBA Excellence Program passes have expired will be automatically transferred to the take-off program if they apply for our EMBA as their first choice.
(seven) to take the national management examination.
Candidates applying for the "Excellence Plan" and "Take-off Plan" must take the preliminary examination of the 2022 National Postgraduate Entrance Examination (the examination subject is English II and the comprehensive ability of the management joint examination), and make online registration, online or on-site confirmation within the specified time (the actual requirements are subject to the announcement of the registration point).
Special reminder: Candidates with valid "Excellence Program" passes of our EMBA must choose our EMBA when they register for the national entrance examination online, that is, the entrance examination of management-Huazhong University of Science and Technology-School of Management-Business Administration-Advanced Business Administration. If they don't choose or fill in mistakes, the results of the early interview will be invalid, and the "Excellence Program" pass they obtained will automatically become invalid.
(8) Re-examination results
The retest score of "Excellence Plan" is the national A line; The retest score of the "take-off plan" is not lower than the national A line.
(9) Re-examination content and achievement composition
Candidates who hold the valid "Excellence Program" pass of our EMBA and pass the preliminary examination results of the joint entrance examination in 2023 must participate in the re-examination organized by our college. The content of the second interview is politics and English, with a full score of 100 and a passing score of 60. The form of political re-examination is to submit a written report, and the form of English re-examination is listening and speaking ability test. The re-examination results are political 10%, English 10%, and the early interview (comprehensive ability interview) is 80%.
Note: Candidates for the "Tengfei Plan" re-examination must take the comprehensive ability test in addition to the political and English re-examinations. The re-examination results are composed of political 10%, English 10% and comprehensive ability test 80%.
(10) access principle
Candidates who hold the valid "Excellence Program" pass of EMBA in our college (including those who obtained the "Excellence Program" pass in 20021year and are still in the validity period) will be admitted if their preliminary test scores of the joint entrance examination in 2023 reach the national A line and pass the re-examination (both political and English re-examination); Those who pass politics but fail in English can participate in the ranking together with the candidates of "Tengfei Plan" (total score = initial score of joint entrance examination /3×50%+ retest score ×50%) according to the principle of grade composition, and are admitted from high to low according to the actual enrollment plan; Fail politics and be eliminated directly.
