King Saud University of Science and Technology is located at the seaside 80 kilometers north of Jeddah. The school has free buses to and from major shopping centers and hospitals in Jeddah every day, as well as special lines to Mecca and Medina. The building area is over 36 square kilometers, including a coral reef ecosystem, which will be used as a marine reserve of the university for research.
