1980 set up clothing design specialty, 1984 set up clothing design department. 199 1, the two departments merged into the department of dyeing and weaving clothing art design. After decades of teaching practice, the Department of Dyeing and Weaving Clothing Art Design has formed a unique and relatively complete teaching system. At present, there are two professional directions: dyeing and weaving art design and clothing art design, including fiber art design teaching and research section, interior textile design teaching and research section, dyeing and weaving CAD teaching and research section, clothing design teaching and research section and clothing engineering teaching and research section.
2. China Academy of Art.
The Department of Dyeing and Weaving Clothing Design is developed from the Department of Dyeing and Weaving of Arts and Crafts. 1989 added the major of fashion design. 1996 was established independently, and it is one of the earliest teaching and research institutions in China to offer undergraduate and master's education in dyeing and weaving garment design.
3. Central Academy of Fine Arts.
The School of Design of the Central Academy of Fine Arts is one of the eight colleges affiliated to the Central Academy of Fine Arts. The educational goal is to cultivate design talents with creative thinking and practical ability facing the 2 1 century. The college has a new team of teachers, mainly young and middle-aged teachers, with novel knowledge structure and active academic thoughts. Most of the teachers have overseas study experience. The College has carried out extensive academic exchanges with many internationally renowned design schools, and hired many famous foreign scholars as visiting professors, and gradually formed its own teaching characteristics.
4. Donghua university
Donghua University's School of Fashion and Art Design is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning in China to establish the discipline of fashion. It consists of fashion design and engineering department, fashion art design department, visual communication department, environmental design department, product design department, performance department, Sino-Japanese cooperation project department, art theory department, art department and experiment center. Set up eight undergraduate majors, including fashion design and engineering, fashion and costume design, digital media art, visual communication design, environmental design, product design, performance, art and technology.
