This major aims at adapting to the needs of socialist market economy and building a socialist country ruled by law, and relies on the comprehensive advantages of our school in economics, management, humanities and other disciplines to cultivate talents with good political quality, comprehensive knowledge structure, solid legal theory foundation, extensive legal professional knowledge and strong practical ability. After graduation, they are oriented to state organs, enterprises, institutions and social organizations, mainly in legislatures, administrative organs, judicial organs, procuratorial organs and institutions of higher learning.

Based on the strong faculty of law teachers in our school and relying on the advantages of comprehensive development of economy, management and humanities in our school, this major trains students into compound talents with law as the core and spanning management, economy and humanities.

This major mainly trains qualified senior specialized legal talents for national legislatures, judicial organs, administrative organs, universities, scientific research institutions and other enterprises and institutions. Through the study and training of the contents specified in the teaching plan of this major, students should meet the following training requirements:

1. Familiar with the basic theories and methods of modern law major, with good political quality, comprehensive knowledge structure, solid legal theory foundation and extensive legal professional knowledge;

2. Master basic knowledge such as management, economics and humanities. Necessary to engage in modern legal profession;

3. Familiar with laws and regulations related to legal work;

4. Understand the latest research results and development trends of law;

5. Strong language and writing skills, as well as the ability to obtain and process information;

Main courses: jurisprudence, Chinese legal history, constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, criminal procedure law, civil procedure law, administrative law and administrative procedure law, economic law, commercial law, intellectual property law, international law, private international law and international economic law.

Fourth, the basic framework of the training plan

The basic framework of the professional training plan mainly consists of the following three parts:

1. Course study. The minimum academic achievement that students should complete is 142, including compulsory course 109 credit, professional elective course 2 1 credit and public elective course 12 credit.

2. practice. Including military training, internships, academic papers, graduation papers, etc. , the minimum credits that students should complete is 14 credits.

3. Extracurricular activities. Including comprehensive quality education, social practice, various subject competitions, grade level examinations and scientific research activities, students should complete 12 extra-curricular credits.
