Tankook University, founded in 1947, is the first four-year comprehensive private university established after the recovery of South Korea. After more than half a century of development, Tankook University has two campuses, Zhutian and Tianan. Zhutian Campus is only about 30 minutes' drive from downtown Seoul, and the traffic is relatively convenient.

Tankook University is outstanding in the field of artistic performance, and its art major ranks among the best in Korea. It has trained many famous people in Korean performing arts, such as Ji Changxu, Liu Yaren, Choo Ja Hyun and Kim Jong Kook, and attracted many overseas students to apply.

Tan Guo University ranked between 75 1-800 in the comprehensive ranking of QS world universities in 2023, slightly higher than domestic Lanzhou University and Beiwai University. Application conditions of Tankook university in Korea

Undergraduate course:

Nationality: My parents and I are both non-Korean nationals.

Education:

Undergraduate freshmen: have completed all the education courses in primary school, junior high school and senior high school 12 years, and graduated from ordinary high school or above.

Sophomore placement: Full-time four-year undergraduate freshmen who have graduated (completed two semesters) and obtained more than 1/4 of the basic credits required for graduation or full-time junior college graduates (pre-).

Third-year placement: full-time four-year undergraduate students who graduated from the second year (completed four semesters) and obtained more than 1/2 of the basic credits required for graduation or graduated from full-time college (pre-).

It should be noted that self-study, family teaching, adult education and higher education are clearly marked in the admissions brochure of the Open University.

Academic qualifications such as self-study exams are not recognized.

Language: Korean TOPIK3 or above or passed the online Korean test of Tankook University.

Note: Applicants for English-taught courses need to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores, and different disciplines have different requirements. You can learn more by private letter.

Shuobo:

Nationality: I and my parents are Korean overseas Chinese, non-Korean nationals or foreigners who have completed all the education courses equivalent to junior high and senior high schools in Korea in countries other than Korea.

Education: Bachelor (Master) degree or pre-graduation.

Language: (Meet any of the following)

Korean topic 3 level 3 or above

Pass the Korean video interview of Tankook University Graduate School.

Hold TOEFL iBT80, IELTS 5.5 or above recognized English scores.

Obtain a formal degree in a country where English is the mother tongue or lingua franca.

I applied for a special education program approved by the dean of the graduate school.
