1, Introduction

Zhejiang University, referred to as "Zhejiang University" for short, is a comprehensive national key university directly under People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education. It is a vice-ministerial system directly under the central government, ranking among the first batch of "world-class universities and first-class disciplines", "21project" and "985 project", and it is the nine-school alliance (C9) and the ring.

Step 2 build

The school's predecessor was Qiushi College, which was founded in 1897. It is one of the earliest new institutions of higher learning founded by China people themselves. 1928 was named National Zhejiang University. 1937 Zhejiang university moved westward, running schools in Zunyi and Meitan, Guizhou, and 1946 moved back to Hangzhou in the autumn.

From 65438 to 0952, some departments of Zhejiang University were placed under the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other universities, and the main part was reorganized into several universities in Hangzhou, which later developed into the original Zhejiang University, Hangzhou University, Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Medical University. 1998, four universities with the same roots merged to form the new Zhejiang University.

In August 2020, the official website of the school showed that the school had seven campuses: Zijin Port, Yuquan, Xixi, Huajiachi, Zhijiang, Zhoushan and Haining. There are 7 departments, 37 specialized colleges (departments), 1 engineering college, 2 Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools and 7 affiliated hospitals.
