1. It depends on your athletic performance. If your grades are good enough, such as reaching the level of national second-class athletes and above, you can contact non-sports colleges for special skills, and you can choose your major freely. My former high school classmate was specially recruited by Harbin Institute of Technology because of his good long jump performance, majoring in international trade.

2. If your physical education performance is average, you can only take the physical education college entrance examination route. All the regular universities in the world have physical education departments or colleges, but once they are admitted, they can only choose special subjects within the scope of physical education. Generally, you can't change majors. Unless you can prove that you are really good.

Nowadays, no matter which major, employment is equally severe, not just sports. Most of the general physical education majors are teachers, and the state will pay more attention to the physical education problems in middle schools. For example, popularizing martial arts education in primary and secondary schools will inevitably require a large number of physical education teachers, so the employment situation of sports is not as terrible as the legend.
