Wuhan Donghu College, located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and the first batch of pilot colleges for the transformation and development of local undergraduate colleges in Hubei Province to application-oriented universities.
Hubei Provincial Model School for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform is the first batch of universities in Hubei Province to enhance their innovation ability ("20 1 1 Plan" in Hubei Province) and one of the sponsors of Hubei Applied University Alliance.
The school, formerly known as Donghu Branch of Wuhan University, was founded in 2000 and is one of the first four independent colleges in China. 20 1 1 Approved by the Ministry of Education, it was transferred and renamed Wuhan Donghu College.
