Beijing Technology and Business University was formed by the merger of Beijing Institute of Light Industry, Beijing Business School and Machinery Industry Management Cadre College on June 1999. Beijing Business School is the first business school established in New China. Yao Yilin, Cheng and other national leaders have served as school leaders. Beijing Technology and Business University, which is characterized by business, light industry and food, is one of the earliest financial institutions in China to recruit students majoring in accounting and certified public accountants. He is also the initiator of the National Regional Financial Forum and the director of the China Financial Annual Meeting. The specialty of food science and engineering has successively passed IFT international certification and IUFoST (International Federation of Food Science and Technology) international certification, becoming the first university in China to obtain IFT and IUFoST certification at the same time, which indicates that the education and personnel training of food science and engineering have reached the international first-class level.
