Color weakness is divided into monochromatic color weakness and bicolor color weakness. Among them, monochromatic color weakness is not sensitive to a single color, which can be divided into red color weakness and green color weakness, while two-color color weakness is also called red-green color weakness, which is not sensitive to both red and green.
According to the current physical examination standards for conscription, weak monochrome is qualified and weak bicolor is unqualified.
According to the provisions of Chapter IV Ophthalmology of the Standard for Physical Examination of Candidates issued by the Ministry of National Defense, Article 36 is weak in color blindness and unqualified. Only those who can recognize red, green, yellow, blue and purple are qualified.

Only those who can recognize red, green, yellow, blue and purple are qualified.
Thirty-seventh eyelid, eyelid margin, conjunctiva, lacrimal apparatus and other diseases affecting eye function are unqualified.
Pseudopterygium extending into the cornea less than 2mm is qualified by the ground crew.
Thirty-ninth diseases of cornea, sclera, iris and ciliary body, pupil deformation and dyskinesia are unqualified.
Corneal clouds that do not affect vision are qualified.
Legal basis: Article 15 of the Regulations on Conscription stipulates that at the beginning of conscription, the county and city conscription offices shall, according to the conscription tasks, arrange for the citizens to undergo physical examination in a planned way.
