3. When a freshman changes to a major, the scores of general education elective courses are not included in the GPA calculation, and the scores are ranked according to the average grade point average (GPA) of students, and the GPA is greater than or equal to 3.5.
Procedures for changing majors:
1, changing majors is handled once every academic year, starting in April every year. At the beginning of April, each college reported to the Academic Affairs Office the name of the major that can be transferred in that year, the number of people who can be transferred to each major and the assessment methods for students who applied to transfer to a major. The assessment method must include interview, with a total score of 100%.
2. In late April, students who apply to change their major fill out the Application Form for Undergraduates to Change their Major. Each student can only apply for a major change and submit it to the student's college within the specified time. If you fail, don't accept it. At the beginning of May, each college will conduct a preliminary examination of the materials for applying to transfer to a major, and the materials that meet the requirements will be submitted to the Academic Affairs Office for review. After the examination and approval of the Academic Affairs Office, transfer to the college where students apply to change their majors.
