I. Introduction of Tibet University
Tibet University, referred to as Tibet University for short, is a comprehensive university affiliated to Xizang Autonomous Region. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Xizang Autonomous Region, a national key construction university under the "2 1 1 project", a world-class discipline construction university, a university supported by the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions, a pilot university for the reform of the national excellent doctoral education and training plan for outstanding agricultural and forestry talents, and a national experimental plan for college students' innovation and entrepreneurship.
The history of running a school can be traced back to1951.1.065438, which was a training course for Tibetan cadres founded by the troops entering Tibet in June, and has experienced the development stages of Tibet Military Region cadre school, Tibet local cadre school and Tibet administrative cadre school. In 1965 and 1975, the school has experienced the development stages of Tibet Normal School and Tibet Normal College. In July 1985, the school was officially renamed Tibet University. 1999, Xizang Autonomous Region Art School, Tibet Medical College, Medical Department of Tibet University for Nationalities, Xizang Autonomous Region College of Finance and Economics and Tibet Agriculture and Animal Husbandry College were merged into Tibet University. 2065438+In June 2006, the College of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry of Tibet University was established as Tibet Agriculture and Animal Husbandry College.
