Honghe Campus covers an area of 1.200 mu, with an original building area of more than 300,000 square meters, including 7 teaching buildings, 18 apartment buildings, 4 canteens and snack streets. There are also spectacular Pyramid Square, Kirin Park, indoor gymnasium, auditorium for 10,000 people, swimming pool, 2 large basketball courts, 4 computer rooms, 3 supermarkets, post offices, banks and commercial streets. Campus teaching area is shaded by trees, surrounded by leisure pavilions, quiet environment and charming scenery. At present, there are four colleges in the campus, namely, Zhongsha College of Architecture and Engineering, International Language College, Automotive Engineering College and International Health College, with more than 6,000 students and more than 400 full-time and part-time teachers, of which 63% are teachers with intermediate titles or above. In order to complete the plan of "supporting students in thousands of counties" proposed by President Wang and meet the needs of school development, Honghe Campus, the largest campus of West China University, is under construction in full swing. The newly-built teaching building 1 building, with a construction area of10.5 million square meters, can be used by more than 8,000 students at the same time. The newly-built standard sports ground has been basically completed.
