The first word-turn.
The first thing to turn is the role. From college students to rural grassroots cadres, we must first enter a new social role. No matter what major we studied and what work we did in the past, we are now playing the role of rural cadres, facing the countryside and agriculture. Therefore, we must change this role as soon as possible, devote ourselves to the new role as soon as possible and adapt to the new environment. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. From the first day of becoming a village official, from the moment of taking office in the village, we must be strict with ourselves, integrate into grassroots work as soon as possible, and do a good job in role transformation.
The second is the change of attitude. A good attitude is very important for a person, and it is also important for doing a good job. Choosing a village official means choosing dedication. Now that you have chosen, you should put yourself in a correct position, do your best and do your duty. As a university student village official, facing a strange environment and a strange job, it is inevitable that there will be a psychological gap. However, "natural selection, survival of the fittest", we can't ask the environment to adapt to ourselves, we can only ask ourselves to adapt to the environment, correctly handle the relationship between ideal and reality, clarify our responsibilities, adjust our mentality, correct our attitude, learn with an open mind and work actively.
The third change is to change majors. The work in rural areas is complicated and changeable. Perhaps the professional knowledge we have learned on campus has nothing to do with rural work, which is almost useless. At this time, it is urgent to change our professional knowledge, learn from the lack of knowledge, and learn professional knowledge in agricultural planting and animal husbandry after work; Agricultural industry knowledge; Knowledge of agricultural market economy; Legal knowledge, etc. Strive to be "four members" of cultural propagandists, agronomists, on-site administrators and folk mediators.
The second word-think.
The first thing to consider is the masses. In rural areas, the object of dealing with nature is the peasant masses. As a university student village official, we should adhere to the viewpoint of contacting the masses, be good at dealing with farmers, care about farmers and safeguard their interests. I often go down to the fields after work, chat with villagers in the streets and alleys of the village, get to know the masses, enhance friendship, establish good relations, and understand the problems that farmers care about and need to be solved urgently, so as to truly think about what farmers think, worry about their urgency and understand their actions.
The second thing to consider is the method. To cultivate correct working methods to solve new contradictions and problems in rural areas, we need to learn to speak in farmers' language, communicate with farmers in a simple and clear way, so that farmers can understand and understand what to do, put away all our elegant and bureaucratic accents, and treat farmers sincerely. When the working methods are wrong, inappropriate and unworkable, we should think of new methods and new ways and put ourselves in the other's shoes. In short, we should solve the problem in a practical way that farmers are willing to accept and achieve farmers' satisfaction.
The third thing to consider is the details. When we come to the countryside, maybe our blood is boiling, maybe we are ambitious, maybe we are ambitious, but please don't forget to start from scratch, from small things, and from ourselves. We should put down our airs, bend down, actively do daily chores, usually help sort out the documents and newspapers in the village, clean the health of the village branch, write all kinds of report materials, and so on. We should all do these little things seriously. Never be arrogant, let alone arrogant and willful. We should start from small things, hone ourselves from small things, accumulate experience bit by bit, and show gorgeous colors in the ordinary.
The third word-dry.
The first thing to say is hard work. In the rural grassroots, which is a melting pot of work and a big post station of life, university student village officials should not only have the ambition of "the sky is falling for the people of Sri Lanka", but also have the mental preparation of "suffering their minds" and "straining their bones and muscles" and a down-to-earth and pragmatic work style. We should guard against arrogance and rashness, and avoid the work style of rushing headlong into action, alternating between cold and hot; Prevent the impetuous problem of doing things without depth and details. Be strict with yourself and do everything well for the masses.
Besides, we should do it in good faith. As the saying goes: nothing is difficult in the world, but it is impossible for a willing mind. When we college student village officials arrive in the countryside, we are faced with people of different ages, levels, situations and ideas. This requires us to truly and sincerely integrate into the countryside and the people. We should devote ourselves to rural work with sincerity in building, supporting and serving the countryside, and serve the people wholeheartedly. We should be rational and emotional, so that farmers can truly feel the work of our university student village officials in rural areas.
The last thing I want to say is to be patient. The countryside is a big classroom, the contradictions in the countryside are complicated, the rural work is complicated and chaotic, and the quality of farmers is generally low. Although college students generally have a high theoretical level, they generally lack practical experience in rural areas, which requires us to go deep into reality, fully understand practical problems, visit and investigate patiently and carefully, analyze carefully, and find solutions with village cadres. For farmers who always have resistance in their work, we should be more patient, seize the opportunity and patiently explain.
The countryside is a vast stage, so we should put down our airs and take root at the grassroots level. Correctly positioning and loving the grassroots; Starting from scratch, serving the grassroots. Rebecca, Assistant Secretary of Xizhuang Village, Nanyangzhuang Township
