Shandong Children's Hospital is not a truly independent hospital, but a pediatrics department of a provincial hospital, called the Provincial Children's Hospital.

Jinan Children's Hospital is an independent hospital. Qilu Children's Hospital of Shandong University, established in cooperation with Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, is the largest children's hospital in the province.

They are two different hospitals.
