Zhejiang Sci-Tech University is located in the famous historical and cultural city of Hangzhou. The school's predecessor, Silkworm Academy, was founded in 1897 by Qi Lin, the governor of Hangzhou, in order to save the country through industry and education. It is one of the earliest new educational institutions in China. The school keeps making progress and writes a new chapter in history.
