Jiujiang Vocational College is located in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, adjacent to Lushan Scenic Area. It is 1985, a public full-time general college approved by the Ministry of Education, and the only municipal higher vocational college in Jiujiang. It is also the only comprehensive higher vocational college named after a university in Jiangxi Province, a demonstration higher vocational college in Jiangxi Province, and an excellent unit for college employment evaluation in the whole province.

Tracing back to the development history of Jiujiang Vocational College after the restructuring, the Normal College of Jiujiang Vocational College originated from the Lianxi Academy founded by Zhou Dunyi, a Neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty from 65438 to 0072. Jiangxi Lushan Tourism College, formerly known as Jiujiang Agricultural School, was founded in the late 1950s and has a glorious history of more than 50 years.

The new Jiujiang Vocational College has become a new comprehensive vocational college with more than 90 majors in engineering, economy and trade, foreign languages, humanities, primary and secondary education, preschool education, nursing and agronomy.
