Haidian District, which belongs to Beijing, is located in the west and northwest of Beijing, bordering Xicheng District and Chaoyang District in the east, Fengtai District in the south, Shijingshan District and Mentougou District in the west and Changping District in the north. The area is 43 1 km2, the boundary line is about146.2km, the length from north to south is about 30km, and the width from east to west is about 29km, accounting for about 2.6% of the total area of Beijing. 1, Summer Palace
The Summer Palace, the imperial garden of China in the Qing Dynasty, was originally named Qingyi Garden. It is located in the western suburb of Beijing, 0/5km away from the urban area/kloc-,covering an area of about 290 hectares and adjacent to Yuanmingyuan. It is a large-scale landscape garden with Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain as the background and Hangzhou West Lake as the basis, drawing lessons from the design techniques of Jiangnan gardens. It is also the most well-preserved royal palace, known as the "Royal Garden Museum" and a national key tourist attraction.
2. Yuanmingyuan
Yuanmingyuan, also known as Yuanming Sanyuan, is a large-scale royal garden in the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the northwest suburb of Beijing, adjacent to the Summer Palace, and consists of Yuanmingyuan Garden, Changchun Garden and Qichun Garden, so it is also called Yuanming Sanyuan. In addition, there are many small gardens in the east, west and south, surrounded by stars.
3. Xiangshan Park
Xiangshan Park, located at No.40, Maimao Street, Haidian District, Beijing, the northwest suburb of Beijing, covers an area of 188 hectares, and is a royal garden with mountain forest characteristics. Xiangfeng, the main peak of the scenic spot, is commonly known as "Ghost Seeing Sorrow", with an altitude of 557 meters. As early as the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the royal family built a farewell palace in Xiangshan, where the emperor went hunting and enjoying the cool in summer and autumn.
