Its principle is: citizens can make an appointment to enjoy cherry blossoms. From 20: 00 on March 5th, the public can enter the reservation system through official website of Wuhan University and official WeChat, and fill in personal real information such as name, ID card (or military officer's card, passport and other valid documents) number and mobile phone number, and make an appointment for a visit three days later. This is the only way for the public to enter the school to enjoy cherry blossoms.

The daily reservation limit is 1 10,000 people on weekdays and10.5 million people on weekends. In addition, Wuhan University has set up a green channel for cherry blossom viewing for epidemic prevention medical staff. During the cherry blossom opening period, off-campus personnel can enter the school to enjoy cherry blossoms after making an appointment through the designated channels of the school. The time is 8:30- 17:30 on weekdays and 8:00- 18:00 on weekends.
