Huali College of Guangdong University of Technology became the second-level college of Guangdong University of Technology in April, 20001. Huali College of Guangdong University of Technology was established in 1999. It is the first batch of independent undergraduate colleges in Guangdong Province approved by the Ministry of Education in April 2004.
