Suzhou University Graduate School Information
The Graduate School of Suzhou University was formally established on April 7, 20 12. This is the first graduate school independently established by a university after the Ministry of Education announced the cancellation of the administrative examination and approval for the establishment of a graduate school.

Suzhou University is located in Suzhou, an ancient city known as "paradise on earth". It is a national "2 1 1 project" key construction university and a key comprehensive university in Jiangsu province, and it is also a member university of 9 local comprehensive universities in China.

Its main predecessor is Soochow University, which was founded in 1900. It is the earliest existing university to carry out postgraduate education and award master's degrees. Master's and doctor's authorized disciplines cover 12 disciplines except military science.

Suzhou University (hereinafter referred to as SUDA), as one of the national key construction universities, is at the top level in many professional fields such as material science and engineering, textile engineering, internal medicine, radiation medicine and so on, and has always been at a high level of application.

For more than a century, generations of Su adults have always adhered to the school motto of "cultivating the righteousness of heaven and earth, understanding the laws of ancient and modern times", insisting on academic supremacy, applying what they have learned, advocating freedom, openness, tolerance, pursuing Excellence, persisting in erudition, stopping at perfection, and devoting themselves to cultivating the model of "free spirit, excellent ability, independent personality and social responsibility".

In the long-term course of running a school, it has sent more than 500,000 professionals, including Xu Deheng, Zhou Gucheng, Fei Xiaotong, Lei Jieqiong, Sun Qimeng and Zhao Puchu. More than 30 academicians such as Tan, Chen Ziyuan, Yu, Song Daxiang and Zhan have made important contributions to national construction and social development.

Suzhou University has twelve disciplines, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management and art.

At present, there are 26 colleges (departments), including 27 full-time undergraduates, 27 full-time masters, 726 full-time professional masters, 27 full-time doctoral students and 2 clinicians.

The school is now an undergraduate major131; 5 1 first-level discipline master's degree program and 24 professional degree master's degree programs; 28 first-class doctoral programs, 1 professional degree doctoral program, and 29 post-doctoral mobile stations; There are 4 national key disciplines, 20 dominant disciplines in Jiangsu universities, and 15 key disciplines in the 13th Five-Year Plan of Jiangsu Province.

Up to now, nine disciplines of chemistry, physics, materials science, clinical medicine, engineering, pharmacy and toxicology, biology and biochemistry, neuroscience and behavioral science, molecular biology and genetics have entered the global essential science indicators (ESI) 1‰, and two disciplines of chemistry and materials science have entered the global essential science indicators (ESI) 1‰.
