According to official website of Sun Yat-sen University, the subway station of Sun Yat-sen University is located between the south gate (main gate) and the west gate of Sun Yat-sen University on Xingang West Road, so it is named Zhong Da Station, which is closest to the main gate. Most universities in Lingnan area are concentrated near Zhong Da Station, adjacent to Sun Yat-sen University with strong cultural flavor.
