Ask for a college English composition. . . . . .
Tonight is an unforgettable night. I chatted with Arvind and Jack on facebook a few days ago and learned that they would return to China at 13. Suddenly I felt sad and disappointed. Arvind is an Indian. I met him on the plane when I came to Ireland, and he was sitting next to me. At that time, everyone talked very well. So exchange emails to facilitate contact. Later, I actually had the same course as him, so we often met and talked for more than half an hour. Later, I had two meals in the school cafeteria when I was free. Although he is an Indian, I think his ideas are very much like China's. We have known each other for only three months and we have become good friends. This semester, he finished his studies and returned to work in India. I'm leaving the day after tomorrow. As for Jack, he is an exchange student from Spain. He is an MBA student. What a coincidence to know him. I remember when the class started, I didn't know where my classroom was. At that time, he walked past me. I asked him, and he showed me the way. Seeing that I was at a loss, he actually took me to the classroom by himself. At that moment, I felt that a few words of "thank you" could not express my gratitude. At that time, everyone was in a hurry for class, and I was late, so I didn't have time to exchange contact information with him. But later, when I was printing an article in the printing room, a man came over and greeted me. I turned around and stared at him for a while, and suddenly I recognized him. So everyone chatted. He saw that I seemed to have met a savior. Hurriedly asked me if I was free for an interview with him at the weekend. It turns out that their teacher asked them to do a survey on the development status of supermarkets in China. He needs to find a China person to interview them and ask them about the development of supermarkets in his country. Sure, I'd love to. So that Saturday morning, after finishing everything, he invited me to eat a steak outside, and everyone became familiar with it. But he will also return to work in Spain after this semester. Now it's time to say goodbye. I don't know when to do it again.

So my classmates and friends in their dormitory are going to give them a farewell party tonight, and they invited me to attend, so I went. This party really opened my eyes and I ate a lot of things I hadn't eaten before. We occupied the whole kitchen, and there were almost 20 people. They come from America, Germany, Italy, Spain and India. Belgium and other different countries. As soon as I went there, I was attracted by all kinds of delicious food, including freshly fried steak and lamb chops, all kinds of chocolates, biscuits, beer, red wine, juice, sausages, potato chips and all kinds of snacks. Later, after listening to those classmates, I realized that these snacks all came from different countries. Just this evening, I had the best dinner in Ireland for a long time. I'm really happy! After drinking two glasses of red wine, although I was not very good at it, I found that these bottles of red wine were not ordinary goods as soon as I entered. I didn't know it was 73 euros (almost RMB 650 yuan) per bottle until I asked. I really admire foreigners' capacity for drinking. Drinking beer is like drinking water, one bottle at a time, another bottle. The worst part is that I am the only one from China. When they heard that I didn't like beer, one by one, they took turns asking me to propose a toast. I didn't want to drink at first, but I haven't been "crazy" for so long. It's rare that everyone is so happy tonight, so I took it online, just like this year's graduation party, and drank almost six bottles of beer! Later, Abend cooked his "Indian tea" for us to drink. I didn't care at first, because I don't like tea. But after he cooked the tea, I took a sip and found it super delicious! ! I drank several cups in a row. Indian tea is completely different from China tea. Tea leaves are as delicate as small grains of sand. Boil the milk in a pot, add some ginger slices and sugar, and cook slowly for more than ten minutes. The taste is really a must! In this way, it took us over three hours to break up. When they left, everyone hugged tightly and said goodbye to the two leading characters who were about to leave. That scene really made people want to cry. I never thought that I would have such a deep friendship with some foreigners. I used to find it difficult to make deep friends with foreigners. But gradually, I found that this is not the case. When you meet some foreigners with the same mainstream ideas, you can really become good friends! I wish them a happy journey the day after tomorrow!

After talking about happy things, we should also remember today's "sad events". Take the first subject at noon today 12. First, we'll take a bus to the examination room. This is what I am most puzzled about: Why do we take the bus to another so-called examination center instead of taking the exam in the school classroom? I have never been to that place, so I don't know how to get there. Fortunately, I made an agreement with Yuky last night that we would leave together this morning. Yuky is an exchange student between Hong Kong University and our school. She is a native of Hong Kong, and her major is finance. It happened that she and her classmates were going to that test center, so we went together. Speaking of Yuky, a lovely little girl, I really can't help but praise her here. Although she is from Hong Kong, she doesn't have the airs of a Hong Kong person. Many Hong Kong people will look down on us in Chinese mainland, but she won't. On the contrary, she is kind, talkative and easy to get along with. What I admire more is her English, which is very fluent and authentic. It's really amazing. Compared with her classmates from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, she is much inferior. It seems that HKU students are really great!

When we arrive at the test center and enter the hall, we have to check the seat number on a blackboard. What a crowd! I finally squeezed in and found n lists, and I didn't know where to start. Later, I found that it was sorted alphabetically by name, and finally found my place, but the exam was about to begin. I looked around and found many examination rooms, but I didn't know where my examination room was. But I was lucky, because I suddenly saw a classmate in our class passing by and took me in. I have to put my bag outside before entering the examination room. In my hurry, I forgot to bring my pen in. Fortunately, that classmate lent me another pen. That kind of embarrassment really makes me want to find a hole to get into. When I entered the examination room, I was really shocked: the whole examination room was like a gymnasium, 1200 candidates were taking exams in this "gymnasium" at the same time! These students come from different majors and grades, including undergraduates, graduate students and even doctoral students! There is a general podium in front of the examination room, where several teachers look at the examination rules and things like that, and from time to time they will say which page of the exam has problems and so on. It makes people dizzy. I thought at that time: my god, this is really a "big pot"!

The exam has begun. I picked up my pen and began to answer questions. The whole paper is a subjective question, five questions, choose three answers. I scanned the questions. Thankfully, it's not as difficult as I thought. The teacher showed us the exam questions of previous years, which made me tremble with fear, but this question seems to be less difficult than before. But not having the previous difficulties does not mean that it is not difficult. The answer to each question does not mean that it is not difficult. Because time is tight. The later I arrive, the tighter the time is. I only remember my pen writing until my knuckles hurt, but I don't know what I wrote. Five minutes before handing in the paper, I finally finished it, and almost fainted at my desk, feeling "weak". After counting, I wrote eight pages of answers! At that time, I thought: Why not use the computer test? I'm used to typing articles on the computer, but I haven't written English with a pen for a long time. I'm not used to it, and my writing is a lot ugly. It's really shameful ~ ~ But anyway, I finally finished the exam, and I don't care if the score is good or not, just pass it!

Go shopping directly in the city center after the exam. The city center is very busy, especially near Christmas, and there are stalls selling all kinds of decorations everywhere. All the stores are on sale. What surprised me most was that many performances by the roadside made me stop and go, and I almost forgot to go shopping. What impressed me most was the performance of a band. Some people were playing and some were singing. It's so beautiful that I don't want to leave! I couldn't help tipping them three euros when I was poor, and I felt sorry for their performance! The excitement before Christmas reminds me of the lively scene of the new year market in my hometown. I suddenly want to go home, but this year's Spring Festival is destined to be spent here! I can't help feeling lonely at the thought of this.

My classmate Michael will hold a Christmas party at his home tonight. He sent me a message, inviting me and some other students to attend, but I can't go because I have to attend Arvin and Jake's party. What a pity! But I believe there will be more opportunities in the future! The exam is over, but there is still a lot of homework to do. I will still read and write every day for the next ten days. I'm a little upset about the group discussion tomorrow. However, life still has to pass, so let's face it positively and optimistically!

Reflections on the Negotiation of "Galbraith Company"

This week's negotiation activities are a little different from previous ones. This is a multi-party negotiation. This time I'm Galbraith &; amp; Senior member of the executive committee. Company, a professional service company. There are five senior members in the Executive Committee, namely Adam, Downs, Baldwin, Chambers and Eagley. Adam is the CEO of the company. I played the role of "Chambers", who was in charge of information technology consulting. We intend to discuss the following issues: 1) Whether to buy Management Quarterly (MQ); 2) Whether Downs is allowed to cash out all his stocks; 3) Who will get Eagly's 7-person consultant professional team; 4) Who will get the informatics account from Adam?

For me, I have shown great interest in Eagly's professional team, because my team has recently suffered a series of betrayals, which were caused by other companies stealing some of my best talents. Therefore, I urgently need to rebuild my team. I also intend to get an informatics account from Adam. The informatics account is now a customer of the automatic coordination mechanism. Only with Adam's permission can I get customers from him. However, compared with Eagley's team, it is not so important to us. Therefore, my main task is to try to get a professional team from Eagly, and if possible, I will also try to get an informatics account.

In the first ten minutes of the meeting, every member of the executive Committee put forward their own concerns. We take out what we want. Then after that, we will have the opportunity to talk about our own problems with each other and hope that others can support us. First, I met with Igory. I told him that I knew he was good at cultivating talents in the team, and I wanted a professional team composed of seven consultants, because my team needed to be rebuilt and now it was short of manpower. But he told me that seven consultants is too much for his team, because if he gives me seven consultants, his team will also face the risk of manpower shortage. He added that personally, he was reluctant to transfer his consultant to other members of the executive Committee. But he also asserted that if I voted against Adam's proposal to buy MQ, he would consider giving me three consultants. Igory reiterated that if the company buys MQ, it is doomed to suffer a big loss. This is why they strongly oppose the acquisition of MQ. In fact, although I kept my close relationship with Adam, I was also skeptical about the value of Adam's idea of buying MQ. More importantly, I am eager to get a professional team from Eagly. So I suggested that if Eagly could promise me five consultants, I would stand with him on the MQ issue. He wanted to further reduce it to four, but I didn't retreat this time and insisted on five. In addition, I put forward the second best choice. If I agree with Adam's view on MQ, he will definitely approve my informatics account. Seeing this, Eagly finally agreed to give me a team of five consultants.

Then I talked to Adam. Adam told me that if I could vote for him on MQ, he would definitely give me the account number of informatics. However, I told him that although I really wanted an informatics account, Eagly's team meant more to me. Therefore, in order to get the most needed votes, I promised Eagly to vote against MQ. Adam was uneasy about my answer, but he still said that he would respect my choice.

Then I talked to Downs, who wanted to sell all his shares. According to the company's articles of association, shareholders can't sell all the shares at once, especially when they own a large number of shares. On the contrary, any partner who decides to leave the company and sell its shares should allow the company to buy back its own shares slowly, so as not to run out of cash soon. Therefore, Downs' request is a flagrant violation of the company's regulations. Nevertheless, considering that Downs has served the company for so many years and made great contributions to its development, I promised to vote for him when cashing all his shares.

My last private conversation was with Baldwin. Baldwin told me that he was eager for Adam's informatics account and hoped that I wouldn't compete with him in this respect. I told him that I had rejected Adam's idea of buying MQ, so he might not approve my account. Therefore, if Baldwin agrees to his request, Adam will give him an informatics account.

Finally, after 25 minutes of private discussion, we returned to the conference table and voted on the questions we raised at the beginning. To my surprise, I got the team from Eagly and the informatics account from Adam! Adam didn't give Baldwin the account because Baldwin didn't vote on his MQ idea. Baldwin claimed that, from the company's point of view, the acquisition of MQ would be a loss, and it might lead the company into a huge crisis. So he claimed that he would not sacrifice the long-term interests of the company for his own benefit. So Adam's idea about MQ didn't pass in the end. Downs got what he wanted because his contribution to the company was recognized by most of us.

I learned something in this negotiation. This is my first time to participate in multi-party consultation, so it is both challenging and exciting for me. I see, in multi-party negotiation, you should know what is most important to you. The same is true in normal negotiations. After you know what you want, you can adjust your strategy according to the parties involved in the negotiation. You should know what other parties want and try to see if you can help each other to achieve their respective goals. If necessary, you should know to sacrifice some minor things in order to get what you need most. In the example I mentioned above, I intend to sacrifice my informatics account to get Eagly's team. But to my surprise, I finally got both. Also, personally, I strongly object to lying to other parties. Maybe you can get what you want by cheating this time, but in the long run, when everyone sees through you, your reputation will be ruined and no one will trust you. Most importantly, I think I learned from Baldwin that we can't always focus on our own personal interests and ignore the overall interests of the company. Once the company goes bankrupt, all of us are doomed to suffer. Therefore, always look at things with a long-term perspective!
