Gomel State University in Belarus is a key university in Belarus with a history of 75 years. Founded in June of 1939, it was named Gomel Agricultural Normal University at that time, with two departments. 1933 was renamed Gomel Normal University. /kloc-0 was awarded the title of Carophe on March 5th, 939. 1969 was renamed Gomel national university again, and was awarded the title of 1988 165438 Guo Lina (famous educator in Belarus) on1October 29th.

The teaching and scientific research level of this school is in a leading position in Belarusian universities, especially photonics, quantum electronics, high-energy physics and new material technology have reached the world-class level. Since the establishment of Belarusian State University of Economics, it has trained various professionals. Belarus State University of Economics not only trained talents for Belarus, but also trained many economic professionals for Eastern European countries, Asia, Africa and Latin American countries.

Gomel is located in the southeast of Belarus, bordering Russia in the east and Ukraine in the south, covering an area of 40,400 square kilometers, accounting for one fifth of the national area, with a population of10.582 million, of which the agricultural population accounts for one third. Gomel, the capital with a population of more than 500,000, is the second largest city in Belarus and the political, economic, scientific and cultural center of the state.
