There are more than 3000 students in the affiliated middle school. In May 2000, it was recognized as an "excellent school" in the supervision and evaluation of the first batch of ordinary senior middle schools in Huaibei City. In August, 2000, it was named "Huaibei Model High School" by Huaibei Education Committee. In July, 2006, it was named "Anhui Demonstration High School" by Anhui Education Department.
