The recent project of Changzhou New Campus of Hohai University covers an area of 2,248 mu, of which the construction area is about 700,000 square meters, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan. It will be completed and put into use in the autumn semester of 2023. The long-term planned construction area is 6,543.8+0.36 million square meters, of which the above-ground construction area is 6,543.8+0./kloc-0.8 million square meters and the underground construction area is 6,543.8+0.8 million square meters. The new campus will be one of the main campuses of Hohai University.

The Changzhou New Campus of Hohai University will adhere to the century-old tradition of Hohai University, base on the characteristics of water conservancy, implement integrated management with Nanjing Xikang Road Campus and Jiangning Campus, and form an integrated training system for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students. It is planned that there will be 20,000 full-time students in the future. The school will set up secondary colleges such as mechanical engineering, Internet of Things engineering, artificial intelligence, finance, industrial design, and China University, as well as Changzhou Graduate School and Industrial Technology Research Institute, and cooperate with world-renowned universities to build Chinese-foreign cooperative colleges.
