Fuzhou University, referred to as Dafu for short, is located in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, and was founded in 1958. It is a national "double-class" construction university, a national "2 1 1 project" construction university, a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the People's Government of Fujian Province, and three key construction universities in Fujian Province.
Fuzhou University has been selected into the National Postgraduate Plan for Building High-level Universities, the first batch of universities with excellent engineer education and training plan by the Ministry of Education, the new engineering research and practice project, the "Hundred Schools Project" project of Data China, the national "11plan", the "Promotion Plan for Internationalized Demonstration Colleges of Universities" and the national innovation and entrepreneurship training plan for college students.

As of March 2023, the main campus is located in Qishan Campus, with several campuses in Fuzhou, Xiamen and Quanzhou, with a construction area of 6.5438+0.63 million square meters and teaching and research instruments and equipment worth 65.438+0.98 billion yuan.
