I. Overview of petroleum and natural gas engineering disciplines

The disciplines of oil and gas field development engineering, oil and gas well engineering and oil and gas storage and transportation engineering were authorized by the master's degree in 1990, 1994 and 200/kloc-0 respectively, and in 2006 they were authorized by the master's degree in the first-class discipline of oil and gas engineering. This direction mainly studies the characteristics of oil and gas seepage and physical/chemical oil recovery technology in complex oil and gas reservoirs; Establish the theory of comprehensive intelligent information decision system for oil and gas field development; High and new technologies such as military industry, explosive combustion and high-power electromagnetic waves are applied to oil and gas production projects; Study the new theory, method and technology of physical (electromagnetic, vibration, high-energy gas)-chemical coupling oil recovery and production increase.

3. Oil and gas well engineering survey control and information application technology

This direction mainly studies the engineering survey control technology of oil and gas wells (especially the survey while drilling and steering drilling control technology); Real-time collection, transmission and processing of oil and gas well information, combined with oil and gas well measurement and control technology, can realize dynamic monitoring, optimization and control of oil and gas well engineering, and improve decision-making and management level.

4. Oil and gas storage and transportation and safety technology
