First, select the object:
I am a second-year master graduate student with the right to confer doctoral degrees in our school, and I have excellent mid-term assessment.
Second, the quota allocation:
According to the current situation that the number of doctoral candidates among liberal arts disciplines is seriously unbalanced, master's and doctor's degrees are generally chosen in science and engineering majors (if there are outstanding liberal arts majors, they can also apply).
1, the number of science and engineering departments authorized by the first-level discipline to participate in master's and doctoral programs generally does not exceed 1/2 of the second-year master's degree students in the department, and the number of other departments does not exceed 1/3 of the second-year master's degree students in two disciplines.
2. The total number of candidates for master's and doctoral programs shall not exceed the number of students enrolled in this major in the current year. Departments authorized by the first-level disciplines can carry out master's and doctoral programs across two disciplines, while other departments generally do not cross two disciplines.
3. In order to support the construction of three national research bases in our school: China Modern Literature Research Center, Republic of China History Research Center and Yangtze River Delta Research Center, if the relevant departments want to send outstanding graduate students for postgraduate study, the graduate school can guarantee the number of places (generally no more than 5 people in each base).
4. A small number of unplanned master students with outstanding achievements, if they need to continue their postgraduate studies, can also declare within the scope of the above quota, but they shall not change the nature of entrustment or self-funded (in which the entrusted training must obtain the consent of the unit in advance).
Third, the basic requirements:
1, good ideological and moral character, law-abiding, healthy, determined to serve the socialist modernization;
2. Excellent mid-term evaluation results;
3. I have written academic papers related to my major;
4. Directed or entrusted graduate students must obtain the consent of the original unit before they can participate in the selection of master's and doctoral programs;
5. Postgraduates who have outstanding talents such as creative achievements in this major and have won awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels during their school years are not limited by grades and places.
Fourth, the selection method:
1. After the mid-term evaluation of the second-year master students, each department determines the primary selection personnel and outstanding graduate students, and organizes them to apply for graduate students.
2. After the graduate student applies and obtains the consent of the tutor, he will fill in the application form for continuing education for master's degree and doctor's degree in early March;
3. Each department makes a comprehensive evaluation of the applicant;
Those who pass the comprehensive examination will enter the doctoral study stage in September.
