Brief introduction of Kansai University
Kansai University, or KGU for short, is a famous private university, located between Osaka and Kobe in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture. Founded in 1889 by Reverend Walter Russell Lambs, an American educator, belongs to Protestant Christianity. One of the four famous universities in West Japan (Kansai University, Kansai College University, Tongshe University, Ritsumeikan University), the national private university TOP 15, one of the member schools of the "Top University Project in the World" in Japan, is a comprehensive private university with eleven universities and ten research departments, and is recognized as an "aristocratic university" in Kansai, Japan. Together with Keio University and Waseda University, it is called "the birth of three royal families" in Japan. 1 Compared with Keio University, the top private university in Tokyo, it is called "Keio Nishi".
