Guiyang Vocational College of Nursing, formerly known as Guiyang Health School, was founded in 1939 with a history of 80 years. In 2006, with the approval of Guizhou Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Education officially put it on record. In March 2007, Guiyang Vocational College of Nursing was formally established, which is an independent health vocational college in Guizhou Province.

Shandong Judicial Police Vocational College is the only ordinary higher police vocational college in Shandong Province. Founded in 1982, it was formerly known as Shandong Judicial School and later renamed Shandong Law School. On April 25, 2006, with the approval of the provincial people's government, the Ministry of Education put on record, and was upgraded and renamed Shandong Judicial Police Vocational College.
