The undergraduate major of architecture and urban planning in the School of Architecture of Southwest Jiaotong University is the only major in Sichuan Province that has passed the national professional education evaluation. The school is one of the five key universities of landscape architecture in China, and it is also one of the institutions awarding bachelor's and master's degrees in architecture in 18. Architectural design and its theory specialty is a key discipline in Sichuan Province. With the great development of discipline construction, the School of Architecture of Southwest Jiaotong University strives to broaden its horizons, broaden its thinking, establish an open school-running concept, further optimize the curriculum system, innovate educational methods, flexibly use various educational models, and pay attention to the cultivation of students' practical ability. From 1985 to 2007, the School of Architecture of Southwest Jiaotong University has trained more than 1,000 graduates, which has made positive and great contributions to the rapid development of architecture in China since the reform and development.
