The school has three campuses, namely Shenyang.
Chongshan Campus, Shenyang Puhe Campus and Liaoyang Vu Thang Campus, with a teaching area of 20 16 mu and a building area of 618,000 square meters, are one of the national "2 1 1 project" key construction institutions.
Liaoning University was established in Shenyang in June 1948 1 1. At the beginning, it enrolled four-year undergraduate students. 1958 September 15, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, shenyang normal College and Shenyang Russian College merged to form Liaoning University, and Comrade Zhu De wrote the name of the school personally.
