The journey of postgraduate entrance examination has finally come to an end. After a series of tests, I finally got a satisfactory result! Southwest University majored in applied psychology. I am very grateful to myself who has been working hard in this process. I finally wrote this test post today, hoping to help the next junior or junior.

1. Background introduction

I am not a psychology major, and I can also be said to be a candidate for World War II. I didn't have such a strong determination to take the postgraduate entrance examination when I was in senior three. I only prepared for the postgraduate entrance examination in September. After more than three months, I took the first exam without a thorough understanding of experimental statistics and professional courses. The final score ended with 340 points, which was both expected and unexpected. So after graduating in the second year and making up my mind to continue studying, I once again embarked on the road of psychology in Southwest University, and fully absorbed the experience and lessons of the previous year. My final score was 380 points, 40 points higher than last year. Successfully entered the second interview and became a prospective graduate student majoring in applied psychology in Southwest University!

Step 2 choose a school

What I want to tell all the postgraduate students is that before you reach a certain goal, you must think clearly about why you want to achieve this goal, whether you can achieve this goal, and how you will achieve this goal. Therefore, everyone must be careful when choosing a school or major. It will really affect your efforts for a year or even two. Everyone's answer is different. About each school, you need to collect all kinds of information yourself, such as reference books, enrollment ratio, or whether there is pressure. My answer is that Southwest University is a very good school, and my major in psychology is my own choice and preference. I am willing and believe that I can achieve this goal through hard work, so I did it.

Step 3 prepare the plan

After setting a good goal and making up your mind, you must make your own overall plan, and make a big plan first, such as what to do before May and what to do before August. When subdividing into small plans, we must do what we can, and we must arrange tasks for ourselves according to our own digestive ability, leaving a certain amount of flexibility. After all, you can't predict many unexpected situations in the future. The plan can be adjusted at any time, but it must be implemented. You can't just eat it and throw it away!

First, about reference books.

In fact, there is no unified bibliography for psychology major, because each school uses a different bibliography. Although the examination syllabus is issued by the Ministry of Education, each school is an independent proposition, so there are still some differences in the bibliography. It is suggested that students who are going to take the 347 exam can go to the school they are interested in and check the school's enrollment professional catalogue, which should have reference books. At that time, I just looked at the catalogue of enrollment majors of Beijing Normal University. There are indeed reference test subjects and reference books, but the content is too much and messy. Later, combined with the diligent teacher to help me guide and organize, it was much clearer. I recommend these authoritative reference books to you, which really helped me a lot:

Then about the outline

Although "347 Psychology Specialty Synthesis" is an outline issued by the Ministry of Education, Beijing Normal University is an exception. Beijing Normal University has its own examination syllabus of 347, which is quite different from the examination syllabus issued by the Ministry of Education. The examination contents of abnormal psychology, clinical and consulting psychology and management psychology were cancelled, and the examination contents of psychological history were added, such as the early development of psychology, experimentalism and constructivism, American functionalism psychology, behavioral psychology and Jungian analytical psychology. At that time, Qin Si was tutoring the comprehensive examination outline of 347 psychology major in Beijing Normal University.

Secondly, about learning methods.

There are many ways to learn, everyone is different, and individuals are very different. It is suggested that schoolmates should not blindly apply other people's learning methods. Other people's learning methods can only be used for reference, and they should be flexibly mastered according to their own actual situation when they are implemented. Here, I give a standard to test the learning method: after studying for a week or a month, ask yourself if you have learned anything, made progress or made great progress. Are you satisfied? If the answer is yes, this method is suitable for you. If the answer is no, then you need to think and adjust. At this time, browsing other people's methods will give you a lot of inspiration and help.

General plan

On the whole, according to the degree of importance, professional courses are the most important, followed by English and finally politics. English review runs through. In March, I began to prepare for specialized courses, and in September, I began to prepare for politics. Before the summer vacation, English and professional courses go hand in hand. At the beginning of the summer vacation, professional courses are the main courses, and it takes 1-2 hours to learn English and politics every day. The last two months are mainly about reciting political and professional courses, and English learning should be maintained and reviewed steadily. The specific study time can be arranged according to individual circumstances. If you learn English better, you can spend less time, and if you have a poor foundation, you can spend more time studying.

politics

There are 15 multiple-choice questions, 17 multiple-choice questions, five major questions, and * * * three hours. Every big question has two small questions, and each small question is generally five points. In other words, if politics wants to open the score, it mainly depends on multiple-choice questions, and the scores of big questions are actually similar. As for the course help of politics, I suggest that you can choose teachers who are famous in the political field to listen to their classes, such as Mr. Xiao Xiurong, Mr. Xu Tao, and Sister Leg ... I started studying politics in September, and most of the time I watched his videos to explain the course to Mr. Xiao Xiurong, but his videos were a bit boring, so I could see his knowledge essentials and do a multiple-choice question of 1000. In terms of time allocation, from September to June, 65438+ 10, it only takes one or two hours a day. By June, 165438+ 10, it is necessary to start betraying politics, and the time should be increased, with the focus on multiple choices. This is a sub-item. Write beautiful big inscriptions during the exam, write more and fill in more. Generally speaking, politics is a cost-effective subject, and you can get good results in a short time.

English

Because I took English II, which is easier than English I in terms of difficulty, but I still can't let my guard down. The questions are cloze, four readings, translation, new questions, a big composition, a small composition, ***3 hours. My English level was average, and the learning method at that time was more suitable for students with poor foundation. First, watch the New Oriental video. Last year's video is enough. After reading Zhu Wei's love story, I skipped too many words. I have to recite words every day until the exam, especially to sort out unfamiliar words in real questions. At that time, I made a reading comprehension and sorted out half a page, which was very effective. Jing Tian's grammar, which benefited me a lot. Although there is no grammar test in the postgraduate entrance examination, you must understand grammar before you can understand long and difficult sentences. Wang Jiangtao's composition, I memorized 10' s big composition and 10' s small composition at that time. From the summer vacation, I wrote one composition a day. After I finished it, I repeated it until the exam. I had to memorize it and simulate it. Finally, the emphasis is on reading comprehension. Do the real question at least two or three times. After reading and writing, English will not be low. Others, such as translation, new questions, cloze and real questions, are almost the same, without special training, but they can't be taken seriously. English can only do real questions, not simulation questions, and the quality is not high.

* To sum up: pay attention to the training of real questions, especially reading comprehension and choosing five out of seven.

View suggestions

The second interview is a physical examination first, then a written examination and psychological measurement. I also had a psychological test this year, and I guess I will do it in the future. In the interview, introduce yourself in English first, and then ask questions. Some teachers are more strict. We were divided into two groups. In a group, a teacher came back from studying in Europe and asked many English questions. I'm lucky, but in the other group, I'm more relaxed. Ask me. It was almost noon, and the teachers were hungry, so they let me out soon. The questions you ask are related to the direction you choose. Which direction to look at during the second interview, and the books in that direction. Comparatively speaking, the second interview is easier than the first one. ?

In addition to what has been mentioned above, my suggestions include some small suggestions.

1. First of all, we need to find a schedule that suits us based on our understanding of our own situation, instead of putting our experience on ourselves as a "successful person". You can stay energetic all day instead of falling asleep at a fixed point or living by drinking coffee.

2. Don't compare your study time with your classmates. There is no denying that everyone's energy is really different. Some people can study 12 hours a day, while others study 10 hours, which is the maximum. So when we have determined our own schedule, don't ask around about other students' study time and compare with them. What suits you is the best.

Don't be fooled by the illusion you create. Really implement your study time, instead of acting like you have studied for a long time, and don't listen to other people's so-called compliments. Only you know exactly how much you have learned, and you should have a real understanding of yourself.

Every road, one step at a time, is the road of "everything is all right" that has not been admitted, and there is no "terrible" life that has failed in the postgraduate entrance examination.

The important thing is not that we failed in the exam, but that we learned to endure loneliness, to deal with emotions, to concentrate, to learn systematically, and to make choices in this process. ...

These abilities will gradually integrate into every minute of your future life and become a part of you.

Mentality is very important, as everyone knows. Since we have chosen the road of postgraduate entrance examination, we must stick to it. Actually, it's only been a year, and soon. If one year's efforts have no results, it is not too late to do something else, and this year's study will only make us progress, not retrogress. When looking for a job, we have one more subject than others. Also, in the process of persistence, there may be many accidents, such as illness and emotional problems. At this time, don't put any questions on the postgraduate entrance examination. If you rely on them, it will affect the review process and your mood will fluctuate greatly. Calm down! Even if you don't take the postgraduate entrance examination, your body may have problems, so don't think it's suffering, but growth. Even if you don't take the postgraduate entrance examination, there may be problems in your relations. Don't think that the other person has delayed your study, but you need to communicate.

The above is my postgraduate entrance examination experience, and I hope it will help everyone.
