Guizhou Normal University, referred to as "Guizhou Normal University", is located in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. It is a provincial-level key university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Guizhou Province, and has been selected into the national "11plan", the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions and the excellent teacher training plan.
The school was founded in 194 1, formerly known as "National Guiyang Teachers College"; 1950 10 was renamed "Guiyang Normal University"; 1954 10 The Ministry of Education entrusts the management of Guizhou Provincial People's Government; 1985 was renamed as "Guizhou Normal University". 1996 was identified as a provincial key university by Guizhou provincial people's government; 20 15 became an institution of higher learning established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guizhou Province.
