The Network Education College of East China Normal University is one of the 67 national distance education pilot schools officially approved by the Ministry of Education, and is a member of the collaboration group of eight key universities in Shanghai.

The Ministry of Education uniformly stipulates that the academic system of online education is 2.5 years, but it can also be flexible for 2.5-6 years, with a maximum of 2.5 years, which requires full credits. General schools require 80 credits.
