According to preliminary statistics, in 2022, the direct recruitment of non-commissioned officers involved road transportation, automobile manufacturing, electronic information, communications, computers, electromechanical equipment, machinery, medicine and so on.

The recruitment of non-commissioned officers shall be handled in accordance with the procedures of registration, physical examination, political examination, professional examination, approval of enlistment, signing of agreements, and handover of transportation.

The conscription office at or above the county level shall be responsible for organizing the physical examination and political examination of the candidates. Those who pass the physical examination, political examination and professional examination shall be approved for active service on the basis of comprehensive measurement.
