Four undergraduate majors are offered, including Chinese language and literature, Chinese international education, history and secretarial science. Their undergraduate majors include teacher education, applied linguistics, drama and film and television, creation and publishing editing, and development and utilization of cultural resources. China language and literature, China history, drama and film studies are three first-class master's majors, covering linguistics and applied linguistics, Chinese philology, China classical philology, China ancient literature, China modern and contemporary literature, comparative literature and world literature, drama theory and art, film and television theory and director, special history, ancient history of China and modern history of China. At the same time, the college also has two professional master's degree programs: Master of Education (Chinese) and Chinese International Education.

Chinese language and literature majors train teachers, teaching researchers and other educators who have mastered the basic theoretical knowledge and skills of Chinese language and literature, are competent for the teaching and research of Chinese language and literature in middle schools, and have the ability to use modern information technology to carry out their work. Cultivate senior professionals with language application planning, design and guidance services, professionals with books, newspapers and periodicals editing and market operation capabilities, and compound talents with network language services and language education and research capabilities.

Chinese language and literature (drama and film and television) trains basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills in the direction of drama and film and television literature, and can be competent to engage in literary creation, literary editing, film and television editing and theoretical research in theaters (regiments), television and television production companies and other departments, systematically complete the collection and arrangement of drama and film and television literature, and engage in relevant propaganda and writing work in state organs or enterprises and institutions.

Chinese language and literature (creation and publishing editors) cultivate compound and applied professionals with solid knowledge base, broad career, keen sense of social smell, strong literary creation ability and editing and publishing skills.

Chinese international education trains innovative and applied talents who have a solid foundation in Chinese and English, are familiar with the basic theories of linguistics and second language teaching, have the basic ability to carry out Chinese international education, and can engage in teaching, education and training of Chinese as a second language in various schools at home and abroad, or engage in management, language and culture communication and other related work in functional departments of state government agencies, foreign trade institutions, foreign-funded and joint ventures.

Secretarial science cultivates basic knowledge of literature, sociology and management, and masters professional skills such as office management, official document drafting and processing, assistant leadership management and decision-making, communication, coordination and comprehensive processing. It can work in government agencies, institutions, large and medium-sized state-owned and foreign-funded enterprises.

History refers to teachers, teaching researchers and other educators who have the basic theoretical knowledge and skills of history major and can carry out history teaching and research in middle schools. Systematically master and skillfully use various cultural information technologies and management methods, and be able to engage in the management, research, development and utilization of cultural resources in departments of culture, art, education, cultural relics and tourism at all levels.
