I. Training objectives

The Institute of vertebrate paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences only recruits academic doctoral students, aiming at cultivating senior professionals with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, love and law, solid basic theory and systematic professional knowledge in this discipline, and the ability to engage in scientific research, teaching, management or independently undertake specialized technical work and innovative spirit.

Second, the application conditions and requirements

Candidates who meet the requirements for applying for doctoral degree as stipulated in the General Constitution of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 20 18.

Three. Registration time, method and procedure

From 2065438 to 2008, doctoral students in our college were enrolled in two stages: only those who changed from master's degree to doctor's degree in spring and only ordinary students in autumn.

Candidates should get in touch with our graduate department before entering the exam. All candidates must participate in the online registration of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

1. Online registration time:

Online application time for doctoral students enrolled in spring: 2065438+September 26th, 2007 -65438+20071October 20th. This time, it is only a master's degree to a doctor's degree, and there is no ordinary recruitment.

Online application time for doctoral students enrolled in autumn: 20171February18121October 65438. This time, there are only ordinary candidates (including candidates for the high-level backbone talents program of ethnic minorities).

2. Online registration method:

Please log on to the Graduate Admissions Network of China Academy of Sciences (), click "Doctor Registration", and choose one of the two categories of "General Recruitment" and "Master to Doctor" according to your own situation to enter the corresponding registration system for candidates to register. Candidates of ethnic minority backbone plan register in the category of "unified recruitment" and select "ethnic minority backbone plan" in the column of examination method after entering the system. Full-time professional degree graduates should apply for the exam according to the category of "unified recruitment".

When registering online, please read the "online newspaper announcement" in the system carefully. All the consequences caused by failing to register according to the requirements of the announcement, filling in the information in the online newspaper by mistake or filling in false information by mistake shall be borne by the candidates themselves.

3. After successful online registration, candidates applying for the category of "Unified Recruitment" should submit the following written materials to our graduate department before125 October 20 18 65438+25 (only postal EMS is accepted, subject to postmark) (all materials will not be returned once submitted):

(1) Print the doctoral registration form generated by the online registration system;

(2) Expert recommendation letters from two professors (or experts with the same titles) (the recommendation letters are downloaded from the homepage of the doctoral online newspaper system of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, filled in by the recommended experts, and sent to the admissions department of the college or department applying for the exam, or sealed by the candidates);

(3) Copy of master's course transcript and master's degree certificate (copy of student ID card provided by recent graduates);

(four) a copy of the valid identity card;

(5) A copy of the foreign student's degree certificate;

(6) Candidates with the same academic qualifications are required to submit relevant certificates that meet the application conditions: transcripts of undergraduate courses, copies of bachelor's degrees and degree certificates (transcripts of master's courses, copies of master's graduation or graduation certificates are fresh graduates or graduates), transcripts of reported professional master's degree courses (issued by the graduate training department of continuing education schools), working hours issued by the personnel department of the unit, senior titles, copies of publicly published papers or scientific research achievement awards and other supporting materials.

(7) On-the-job personnel must apply with the consent of the unit and present the approval certificate of the unit personnel before they can participate in the second interview.

(8) In addition to the above materials, candidates applying for the key ethnic minority programs must also submit the Registration Form for Applying for the Doctoral Postgraduate Program of High-level Key Ethnic Minority Talents, which is audited and stamped by the Ethnic Education Department of the education administrative department of the province, autonomous region and municipality directly under the Central Government (the blank form can be downloaded from the College Admissions Information Network of China Academy of Sciences).

Candidates who change from a master's degree to a doctoral degree should submit the printed registration form and other relevant materials generated by the online registration system (see the notice on the college website for details) to graduate department within the prescribed time limit.

4. After receiving the application materials submitted by candidates, graduate department of our college will review their written materials and online newspaper information, and those who pass the exam will be allowed to take the exam and confirm it in the online newspaper system. Those who pass the examination will be displayed in the online newspaper system: Online Registration System-Registration Results-Confirmation Status: "The company you applied for has confirmed your registration information". Those who fail the exam will be disqualified. In the re-examination stage, the qualifications for the examination will be reviewed. Candidates who do not meet the application conditions will not be admitted, and the relevant consequences will be borne by the candidates themselves.

5. When registering online, candidates should carefully fill in and carefully check their name, gender, nationality, ID number and application category (directional or non-directional). After the application information and admission information are reported to Beijing Education Examinations Institute and the Ministry of Education, the relevant information may not be changed, and the school will no longer accept applications for modifying information.

Four, the general recruitment examination subjects and examination methods

1. The exam is divided into two stages: the initial test and the second test.

2. The written test subjects for the initial exam are: political theory course (those who have obtained master's degree and fresh graduates can be exempted from the exam), English I (listening test during the second interview) and two business courses. All of them are closed-book exams, and each subject takes 3 hours, with a full score of 100. Political theory course and English course are unified by Chinese Academy of Sciences, and business course is put forward by our college.

3. Initial test time

Autumn entrance examination: foreign language: 20 18 March 17 8: 30 am-1:30 am; Political theory: March 18, 2:00-5:00 pm. In principle, the examination time of specialized courses will be arranged in the afternoon of March 17 and the morning of March 18, and the specific time will be subject to the subsequent notice.

4. Candidates with the same academic level must take the written test of political theory course (during the initial test) and take two master's courses in the major they apply for. The examination method is a closed-book written examination, and the examination time of each examination subject is 3 hours, with a full score of 100. The subject name, examination scope, specific time and place of the additional examination will be notified by graduate department in advance.

5. No admission ticket. Candidates are requested to collect and take the exam according to the time I informed online before the exam.

6. The time, content and method of the second interview will be notified separately on our website.

Verb (abbreviation for verb) physical examination

The physical examination is organized by myself in the re-examination stage of secondary and above hospitals. The physical examination standard is in accordance with the Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination for Enrollment in Colleges and Universities (J [2003] No.3) issued by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and the China Disabled Persons' Federation, and the Notice of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on Further Standardizing Physical Examination for Enrollment and Employment and Safeguarding the Employment Rights and Interests of HBsAg Carriers (Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Fa 12). And "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education and the General Office of the Ministry of Health on Issues Related to Cancellation of Hepatitis B Project Testing for Enrollment in Colleges and Universities" (Church [2010] No.2). Freshmen need a physical examination after entering school.

Sixth, enrollment.

1. According to the enrollment plan issued, candidates' initial test scores, retest scores (including interview scores, comprehensive evaluation results of candidates' academic achievements at master's or undergraduate level, master's or bachelor's degree papers and comments, expert recommendation letters, etc. ), ideological and political performance and physical health, and combined with the intention of the instructor, select the enrollment list. Candidates who fail in political examination or medical examination or re-examination will not be admitted.

2. Candidates with the admission category of "orientation" must sign a tripartite orientation training agreement before admission. The admission category shall not be changed after the admission data is reported. The plans for high-level backbone talents of ethnic minorities all belong to directional training.

Candidates who are admitted should register within the time specified by me. Candidates are not allowed to postpone admission by retaining their admission qualifications. If you can't report on time for special reasons, you must provide relevant certificates and submit a written application for leave to our graduate department office, which will be valid only after approval. Those who fail to report for duty without reason 10 working days will be disqualified.

4. Newly-admitted master graduates should present the original master's degree certificate at the time of enrollment registration. Those who have not obtained a master's degree or cannot provide the original master's degree certificate will be disqualified.

Seven. Cost and treatment

In 20 18, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences will reform the investment mechanism of postgraduate education in accordance with state regulations, and charge all newly enrolled doctoral students tuition and accommodation fees. At the same time, we will improve the policy system of graduate students' awards and aid, and improve outstanding graduate students' awards and aid.

The national plan for full-time academic doctoral students is 10000 yuan/year/student, which is charged according to the academic year.

The fee standard for doctoral students in the high-level backbone talents program of ethnic minorities is the same as above.

Candidates who have been admitted as doctors after the examination pay doctoral tuition fees when they enter school.

Eight, years of study

The basic study period for openly recruited doctoral students in our hospital is 3 years, and the basic study period for doctoral students is 5 years.

IX. Disciplinary action

Candidates who declare false materials, cheat in exams and other violations of enrollment regulations will be severely dealt with according to the Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations formulated by the Ministry of Education and relevant regulations.

X. employment

After graduation, non-directional doctoral students will be employed under the guidance of the national employment policy; Doctoral students trained in orientation will be employed in orientation units according to orientation agreements upon graduation.

XI。 others

1. If there is any unfinished business, please contact our graduate department; If it is inconsistent with the new national enrollment policy, the national policy shall prevail.

2. Candidates should carefully consider and determine the "application category" according to their actual situation, that is, "orientation" or "non-orientation", and the application category shall not be changed after the online newspaper information is submitted. Disputes between candidates who apply for graduate students and their original units or units entrusted with training, orientation and service contracts shall be handled by candidates themselves. If the enrollment unit cannot retrieve the candidates' files due to the above problems, the enrollment unit will not be responsible for the candidates' re-examination or admission.

Candidates should carefully check whether they meet the requirements before registration. The application qualification will be reviewed in the second interview stage. Candidates who do not meet the application conditions will not be admitted, and the relevant consequences will be borne by the candidates themselves. 4. Fill in the "Master" for the final degree of fresh master graduates, and fill in the "Master" for the final degree; Previous students must fill in the graduation certificate and degree certificate number. Fill in the degree certification number issued by the study abroad service center. Please note that the date of birth shown on the ID number must match the declared date of birth. The contact information must be the most detailed, and the school should write down the college, department and class.

5. If the application materials are not filled in and submitted online according to the specified time, or the application conditions are not met, the admission ticket will not be issued.

6. The annual enrollment quota of our college is the index in the national plan.

7. On-the-job orientation students must pay the training fee and sign the Training Agreement.

8. Our college does not stipulate the outline of doctoral entrance examination. 9. The assessment and admission of graduate students are formulated according to the assessment methods of our college.
