China Geo University is a famous university. China Geo University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a graduate school approved by the state, a national "2 1 1 engineering" and a national "double-class" construction university.

The school has 3369 teaching and administrative staff, including teachers 1956. China Academy of Sciences 13, China Academy of Engineering 1, doctoral supervisor 63 1, 452 professors and 8 14 associate professors. There are 16 winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 19 winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and 29 winners of the "Outstanding Talents in the New Century" of the Ministry of Education.
