The Powder Engineering Laboratory of Tsinghua University Materials Department (hereinafter referred to as the laboratory), as a professional laboratory engaged in the research of superfine, grading, surface modification, surface coating, micro-nano particle compounding and deep processing of nonmetallic minerals, has undertaken the national key scientific and technological plan, the "863", the Natural Science Foundation, the Tsinghua University Basic Research Fund and the industrialization demonstration project of the State Planning Commission for many years, as well as the development entrusted by enterprises. Among them, 9 items passed the provincial and ministerial appraisal, reaching the international advanced and domestic leading level, and 6 items won the first and second prizes of scientific and technological progress in Beijing and the Ministry of Land and Resources respectively.

Accumulated 7 postdoctoral and doctoral students, 9 master students and 6 graduate students; It has trained a group of scientific research and engineering technicians for the domestic powder industry. Published more than 0/00 academic papers/kloc-,of which 6 were included in SCI, 2 in ISTP and 9 in EI. He has published 2 academic monographs and 3 participating works, among which the academic work Ultrafine Grinding and Classification Technology has sold more than 5,000 copies. Apply for 7 invention patents and authorize 3; Five utility model patents were applied and two were authorized.

Over the years, through active and extensive international cooperation and exchanges, we have introduced and absorbed foreign advanced technology, constantly explored and accumulated rich experience in powder processing technology, developed a series of large-scale equipment and complete production systems such as superfine grinding, classification, modification, coating and resource recovery, and implemented them in more than 60 domestic and foreign enterprises in chemical industry, building materials, machinery, food, traditional Chinese medicine, health care products and other industries, creating an output value of nearly 2 billion yuan and achieving remarkable results. Some powder processing technologies have been exported to Southeast Asia to compete for the international market. Representative industrial production lines include: superfine powder wet modification system, superfine powder dry modification system, high-speed airflow crushing classification system, functional master batch production system, wet superfine processing system, raymond mill modified micromachining, large superfine classifier for ball milling system, large stirring mill, impact crushing classifier, vibration superfine processing, polymer superfine processing, etc.

With the care of leaders at all levels and the help of people from all walks of life, R&D room has experienced 10 years of entrepreneurship and accumulation in the fields of powder, materials and resources, realizing the transformation from research to industrial development, and deepening research on the basis of industrial development. Nowadays, the laboratory takes the motto of "self-improvement, morality and morality" to strengthen the basic research on the preparation and application of functional composite powders; Taking Hebei Tsinghua Research Institute as the engineering development and production base; As a subsidiary of the Powder Technology Branch of China Building Materials Association, it has established a domestic and foreign science and technology and business information network through the China Powder Industry Information Network; Form a close Industry-University-Research consortium with equipment processing and powder production enterprises to jointly develop the market; Realize the goal of science and technology industry serving the country.
