Changzhou, referred to as Longcheng for short, is a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, one of the central cities in the Yangtze River Delta region of China, an advanced manufacturing base and a famous cultural tourism city approved by the State Council. As of 20 18, the city has five districts 1 county-level city, with a total area of 4,375 square kilometers, a permanent population of 4.729 million, an urban population of 3.428 million, an urbanization rate of 72.5%, and a permanent population of/kloc-0.7 million.
Changzhou is located in the south of Jiangsu Province, in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, with Wuxi in the east, Nanjing and Zhenjiang in the west and Wuxi and Xuancheng in Anhui Province in the south. Changzhou belongs to the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with both high sand plains and hilly lakes, and belongs to the north subtropical monsoon climate. There are many scenic spots such as Weidun Neolithic Site, Spring and Autumn Yancheng, Tianning Temple, Hongmeige, Wenbi Pagoda, Vine Flower Old Hall, Boat Pavilion, Wang Fu of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, Tianmu Lake, Jintan Maoshan Scenic Area, Amusement Valley, Oriental Salt Lake City, and Huaxia Baosheng Garden.
