In 2005, Chengda Business School passed the admission evaluation of AACSB International and confirmed that its goal-oriented teaching and research were of high quality. At that time, it was the third business school in Greater China to obtain this certification. In 2007, it was certified by the European Certification Organization (EQUIS).
From 20 12, colleges of science and engineering and Columbia University jointly launched a double bachelor's degree program. Students with excellent grades will study in the comprehensive discipline college of City University and Columbia University for two years respectively, and after completion, they will be awarded an honorary bachelor of science degree in a certain major by the two universities.
The Law School has signed cooperation agreements with Oxford University College, Monash University Law School in Australia and Columbia University Law School in the United States to offer the "Global Legal Education Cognition Course". Internationally renowned legal scholars are often invited to give lectures in Hong Kong, or in the form of video conferences. Set up internship subjects with credits and arrange students to practice in local multinational law firms, non-governmental organizations or mainland courts.
The lectures are mainly taught in large classes, and the remedial classes are taught in groups. Encourage students to participate in international mock trial competitions, and provide international court debates and lawsuits with credits for students to choose from. Students can participate in the editing work of The City University of Hong Kong Law Review.
