It's an honor to be the president of the student union and speak here.
First of all, I would like to congratulate all the elected student union cadres. I am sincerely happy about the emergence of this new group. From this moment on, we know that this honor and this responsibility will continue every minute in the future.
Taking part in the student union work is not only a challenge to stimulate self-ability, but also an absolute definition of one's sense of mission. A strong sense of responsibility will drive everyone to earnestly perform their duties, never retreat in the face of difficulties and fatigue, and move forward firmly! We are confident, enthusiastic, united and fearless. There is every reason to believe that the struggle, mutual trust and persistence of every member of such an elite team, with the support of leaders and teachers, will certainly create our own legend!
Under the aura of the achievements of previous student unions, we need to learn from them, but we need to think more! We inherit what they started and seek what they ignored, but the most important thing is that we should learn to reflect, find problems and solve them. Obviously, under the student-oriented premise, the students' union has made unremitting efforts to provide students with a series of practical activities to enrich their classroom and extracurricular life, which has won the affirmation and praise of teachers and students. But we can easily find that there are still many problems behind it. Today, we are faced with opportunities and challenges! I'm Zhong Chongcan from Class 2, Grade 2,1/kloc-0. I'm honored to be elected as the president of the first student union of the College of History, Tourism and Culture. Here, I would like to thank all the leading teachers and all the students present for their support and affirmation! thank you
With the beginning of the new semester, the student union work in our college has also begun a new chapter. Under the leadership of the Party Committee and the guidance of the Youth League Committee of our college, our students will keep in mind the school motto of "morality, knowledge, thinking and faith", adhere to the spirit of "hard work and unremitting self-improvement", strive to practice the working purpose of "seeking truth and being pragmatic, pioneering and innovative", take "self-education, self-management and self-service" as the purpose, and "wholeheartedly" be the president of the students' union. I am well aware of my responsibilities. Here, I hope that every student union member of our College of History, Tourism and Culture will encourage themselves with the spirit of "pioneering cattle" and strive to do all the work well.
Now, please allow me, on behalf of all the members of the Student Union, to tell you about my working ideas:
First, strengthen the self-construction of the student union and promote the development of the student union work in our college.
1. Build a team internally and build an image externally, so as to further improve the cohesion and combat effectiveness of students' union members. We plan to hold training and quality development activities for students' union cadres in the near future, so as to enhance the fighting capacity and cohesion of students' union members in the training activities. Strive to show strength in service, form motivation in work, enhance ability in innovation, and gather strength in communication with others, so as to further enhance the influence of students in colleges and universities.
2. Formulate and improve various rules and regulations, deepen theoretical study and strengthen the self-construction of students' union.
Strengthen the construction of departments, formulate work guidelines for each department under the unified coordination and organization of the presidium, clarify the functions, work directions and division of labor of each department, and improve work efficiency; Deepen theoretical study, thoroughly study the spirit of the Party's ""meeting, and practice the mass line education activities of the Party's criticism and self-criticism. Improve the ideological consciousness of all members of the student union in their studies.
3. Student cadres should study hard, be diligent in investigation and supervision. All departments should strengthen communication and coordination, and keep abreast of the ideological trends of all departments and members. Regularly carry out internal exchange activities of the student union, understand the college dynamics, absorb students' suggestions, find and solve problems in time, and adjust the development direction of the student union.
4. The work of the student union should be done daily, weekly and monthly. Cadres and departments of the Student Union should hold regular self-reflection and self-criticism meetings, sum up experiences and lessons in time, and promote the development of the Student Union.
Second, innovate and deepen reform; Bold innovation, forge ahead.
1, decentralization, accountability, responsible to the Ministry, responsible to people. At the same time, strengthen supervision and improve the quality of activities. Whether you run your own school or participate in school activities, you should plan ahead, make full preparations, ensure the quality and establish the image of the college.
2. Establish a publicity system for students' union work, and set up feedback mailboxes and e-mails for students' union. Publicize the work of the student union as a whole and all departments in stages to achieve the purpose of mutual supervision and encouragement.
3. Make full use of the network platform. Such as college website, community forum, Weibo and instant chat tools. Provide college-related notices, recruitment information and learning resources for college students. At the forum and Weibo, we will announce the progress of our work, accept your opinions, draw new ideas and carry out our work better.
4. Human resource integration. Our college is a place full of talents, and our talents are all over the major organizations of the school, such as the school student union, the school community, the employment guidance center for college students, and the young volunteers association. In this regard, we should make full use of the advantages of human resources to serve the college together, thus expanding the influence and popularity of the college and making positive contributions to the smooth work of the college.
Third, carry out activities, emphasize quality and quantity, and protect traditions and characteristics.
In terms of activities, we will carry out moderate reform and bold innovation on the basis of inheriting the tradition, and further establish the brand-specific activities of the college. In addition to regular activities such as essay contest, poetry recitation contest and singer contest, the student union of our college will also hold some large-scale activities such as Tongda Food Festival on the tip of the tongue to serve the lives of teachers and students from the perspective of facilitating students' daily life and study.
Students, the baton of history has been given to us. We will be sincere, pragmatic, diligent and pragmatic, live up to the expectations of teachers and students, and create a new situation in college student work.
